  • Description - Volcano of Kilauea, Hawaii National Park; Kilauea volcano on Hawaii is the most accessible volcano in the world. On the banks of its crater is situated the Volcano House and near by are the suphur baths from natural vapor cracks. The circumference of the crater is 7.85 miles and encloses an area of 2,650 acres. The remarkably deep pit of the extinct crater Kilauea-Iki, a mile and a half from the Volcano house is easily reached.
