Committee on Judiciary and Hawaiian Affairs, whose scope shall be those programs relating to the courts, crime prevention and control, criminal code revisions, sentencing structures and alternatives to incarceration, judicial and legal questions, constitutional matters, the Attorney General, the Judiciary, individual rights and civil liberties, and other pertinent matters referred to it by the House. The committee shall also consider those programs and issues relating to persons of Hawaiian ancestry including those administered by the Department of Hawaiian Horne Lands and the Office of Hawaiian Affairs.
