Liliʻuokalani Papers

This M93 sub-series contains a wide range of documents including a group of correspondence, with an earlier artificial arrangement by the Archives, that is assigned numbers 1-589. In addition to this set are calling cards, invitations, visitor books, scrapbooks, and an early draft manuscript of "Hawaiiʻs Story by Hawaiiaʻs Queen" with the draft title "Variegated Leaves." The sub-series makes up the core body of the M93 series and offers materials documenting the life of Hawaiʻi's eighth ruling monarch and first ruling Queen, Her Majesty Queen Liliʻuokalani.
