  • Description - [postcard]; HI-610 Coat of Arms. A feather cloak is the background for the Royal Twins, holding spear and Kahili. The motto means "The life of the land is perpetuated in righteousness." On the shield, the eight stripes represent the inhabited islands; the kapu sticks in opposite corners indicate protection. Centered is an ancient triangular flag above crossed spears.; Similar to plaques originating on gates to Iolani Palace grounds.
