Coat of arms of the Kingdom of Hawaii, Kamehameha III, IV, V & Lunalilo.; Similar to plaques originally on gates to Iolani Palace grounds.; Coat of Arms, Bishop Museum, Honolulu, Hawaii. A feather cloak is the background for the Royal Twins, holding spear and Kahili. The motto means "The life of the land is perpetuated in righteousness." On the shield, the eight stripes represent the inhabited islands; the kapu sticks in opposite corners indicate protection. Centered is an ancient triangular flag above spears.)
