Subject - Hotel Street at Fort, looking Waikiki. Location - Edge of Benson Smith corner showing next Arlington Block, Alexander Young Hotel in distance. Original Negative By - Unknown. Data - At the left the Mott-Smith Building, about 1900 occupied by Frank Davey, Frank (1860-1930), Photographer, and later by Rice & Perkins, who took over the Davey, Frank (1860-1930) Studio. In 1952 the building was occupied by a clothing firm. At the extreme left smaller buildings on the "Pantheon" corner. Earlier this had been the location of Jim Dodd's Saloon, and a livery stable. The Pantheon Building standing on this corner in 1952 was built in 1909-10 it putting up this building the following places of business were eliminated: Fitzpatrick's Cigar Store, Chilton's Barber shop, Manhattan Cafe, Pantheon Saloon.
