This photo was sent by Dowager Queen to Lydia Sellon, Mother Superior of the Devonport Society and Foundress of the first religious order in the Church of England since the Reformation. This photo was recently returned by the kindness of the present Mother Superior of the Society of the Most Holy Trinity, successor of the Devonport Society. Together with Queen Emma, Mother Sellon founded the Priory in 1867.
